Faith of a Woman

An encounter with the living Saviour proves to be life-changing. And this book captures nine such stories of Asian women who have been touched by God in unique ways. They share the intimate fears and darkness of their life before knowing Jesus, how they met Him, and how that experience helped them live life anew. They talk of God's guiding hand in facing their adversities and beating the odds. You'll read of stories on overcoming sexual abuse, marital affairs, substance abuse and how these women emerged stronger through their ordeals.

This book covers important Scriptural topics like BGR, relating with God’s family and dealing with the devil by not dealing with him. You’ll go from knowing about Jesus to knowing Him personally, and maybe eventually falling in love with Him (as He has with you). And it is a whole new journey with Christ once you get to know Him for yourself.

This designer book contains topical Bible studies and exercises which you can pen within.

JULIANNA, retiree

The stories of nine women who turned their struggles, fears, doubts, failures into strength by total commitment, faith, trust in Jesus. All these nine women became extraordinary because of their life-changing faith in God. Here's my takeaway on some of them:

  • Story of Zi Han – Death is necessary and also the reason for salvation to all of us, as God has given us the land as our inheritance, the eternal kingdom. Jesus did not just die a sacrificial death for us to cleanse our heart from sins. He opens the heart, giving love and compassion to us who believe and trust in him.

  • Story of Lindsey – The cries of desperate hearts can be heard all around us, He will respond to the cry of the desperate hearts wherever it may be found.

  • Story of Rachel – Rachel's story is similar to my niece's, whom I never failed to pray for her when she was in prison. She has since turned over new leaf and is delivered by Christ. I passed her this book to encourage her. I pray and said to the Lord, "You have to help my niece believe in You."

  • Story of Grace – Suffering ceases when God answers prayers, and Grace's story is a proclamation of God’s healing.

  • Story of Margaret – Regarding religious diversities, I hope to one day see my siblings walking in the faith. To me I only want to serve Him, because He is my Sovereign God.

  • Story of Thyda – Forgiveness is one of the most important aspects of Christianity. I have forgiven my ex-husband and pray for his well-being and new wife and kids.

  • Story of Angie – Motherhood. To me it was a winding path from marriage to motherhood, complete with heartbreak from divorce, ending a 14-year marriage. It's been a unique adventure God had for me, juggling a senior financial position and being a single mother. I went deeper and listened to what God might be calling me to do. No matter how unusual or how crazy, I follow God’s plan.

Kylie's book is a complete great book to encourage all women, non-Christians or Christians, to learn how to be closer to God. It brings Jesus' message of peace and salvation for today and every day.
